At first glance, making money without a job seems like a great idea. Days filled with meanderings and for sure, a short workday. The idea of earning the same income you earn now at your job, but without going, is really cool, isn't it? And it is, but it comes at a price. I heard a quote once that went something like:

"one can do anything that isn't contrary to laws of god or man provided he is willing to pay the price."

I like that, how about you?

The thing is, if you want to replace your current income or maybe earn more money and are looking for creative ways to make money without a job, or another job, then you can do it. The process is really quite simple, and lucky for you, know a days there are lots of ways to make money without providing services to your local community, which is really just a job anyway.

Is it Hard to Make Money Online Without a Job?

The difficult part about making money online is the discipline and trust it takes to follow through. For me it was a lot easier to believe what I was doing could work when I actually saw cash flowing in. I went from real business making lots of cash to pennies online and my transition did have a little turbulance if you know what I mean.

The Internet provides tons of different opportunities to make money that don't involve getting a job. You can learn skills online for free that you can either leverage for passive income or use to provide services to people who need them.

Something as simple as starting a blog can be your first step in making money online without an employer breathing over your neck. The cool thing about using the Internet to make money is that you can do it in your spare time and when your income reaches the level you need it to, you can quit your job straight away.

Starting small service type businesses is a great way to earn money and retain some sort of controll over your time, which is nice. But I suggest you take a good look at ways to make money online too, as they are much more passive and simply more enjoyable (in my opinon)

I came across an interesting idea for making money with penny stocks in 2010 and wrote about it at my "Making Money Ideas" blog the other day. Lots of people are interested in penny stocks today and one of the most powerful attractors to this low cost investment is the idea the low cost means low risk.

Can I File Bankruptcy Without a Job in Michigan?

A guy asked me the other day if he could file bankruptcy without a job. I have no clue and thought I'd pass the question on by blogging it here. What do you think? I live in Michigan and bankruptcy is on the rise. There are a ton of people who don't have a job right now and I thought it was a fair question.

Filing bankruptcy in Michigan is more and more common place and I think 2010 will see even more. Foreclosures are different than bankruptcies but I've heard that many times a bankruptcy can follow a forclosure.

I don't think you need to have a job, but I don't know of anyone who did file bankruptcy without a job in michigan.

You know I love money making ideas that don't require an initial investment and there are some great ideas out there that don't. I've talked about a few of these making money ideas on this blog and don't really want to get into that today. The bottom line is that if you want to earn income without a job then you better get creative and be able to spot opportunities.... I think I spotted on today and to confirm I'll let you know in about 3 months...

I just bought a book I think??? Its called 23 ideas to make money starting today. I did have to invest some money for the book and domain, I won't mention it here but lets just say it wasn't much, considering what I think I can do with the site and book in the next year or so.

So I guess the point is that some of the best 2010 making money ideas might be disguised and a small start up cost so don't let that scare you away. Develop a plan that will work, if you have a plan don't be afraid to invest a little cash.

I have a daughter who will be in junior high in a couple years and she is concerned about having money to buy the things junior high kids need to buy? Starting a blog to earn money for a junior high aged child is really a great extra money idea.

It is very easy to start a blog using this blogging platform, its called blogger, it is free, and it is free to get ads and start earning money. It is also very important to follow the rules as cheaters are treated very harshly, just like in real life.

So this is your earn extra money idea that lets you make money without a job, actually even if you already have a job you can always use some extra cash. This is one of the many extra money ideas that you can start in your spare time and it is also quite a passive way to earn money for high school and junior high school students.

When a beginner comes to the Internet in search of a legitimate money making opportunity the floodgates really open up, know what I'm mean? Its like holy Toledo! I remember the first time I turned to the Internet for a solid business opportunity. At first I thought it would be difficult to find a "business idea" or money making opportunity online. Not sure why I thought that, but I did.

Much to my surprise, the Internet was PLASTERED and I mean PLASTERED, did you get that? Plastered all over the online world were these money making opportunities!!! How exciting, you know what I mean?

Well I realised that of the first ten or so money making opportunities online that I found, 10 were ads or crafty little website headlines reading " Make Money Doing Nothing" or " This is so Easy My Grandma Does It"..... you know what I mean?

I think it's important to let you know what I realised right about this time. Two things really:

Making Money without a Job or Money... Is it Possible?

I get some emails from my web visitors from time to time and a frequently ask question is " how do I make money without spending money" or " how do I make money without a job".

The question used to annoy me. But I do understand the idea. I've made money without a job or start up capital. It usually involves working for free or creatively solving someones apparent problem.

My experience with earning money without start up capital started with a company called Do It Yourselfers Helper. It was basically a simple handyman business and the idea was great. The business quickly evolved into a concrete construction company as that is what I had the most experience with at the time.

I wanted to share an experience I had with the company to illustrate how a person can really make money without start up capital. I put up some cards that I had made and a gentleman picked one up and gave me a call. He had a mobile home that served as a cottage in Michigan and he wintered in Florida. Every spring he would come home and had trouble opening the door as the mobile home would heave with the frost in the winter.

I suggested he put concrete piers under the trailer and he agreed. Long story short I earn $3,700 dollars for 3 days work. While that isn't a ton of money, at the time I felt rich. I was probably 19 or so and that money went a long way.

I made an agreement with someone to do something that had an agreed upon value of $3700 dollars and I did my part, he did his and I got paid.

So... The point-

In order to make money without a lot of capital you need to be willing to add value, to serve a customer or solve a problem. Make sure you do your part and make sure you have an agreement.

Out of the Box Business Sense: The Entrepreneur Uncommon.

What is the Box? Where is it? What is it For? What will it do For me? And Why?

How do you get out of the box if you don't even know your in it? What is the "box" anyway. Is being opened minded the same as being an out of the box thinker?

I think the "box" can mean many things. First of all in calls to mind words like common, unoriginal, safe, acceptable,sensible, realistic, conformity, logical, understandable, reliable, and congruent.

People tend to naturally developer tendencies and one powerful force or law that govern those tendencies is what I like to refer to as the "law of the herd". You may have caught yourself asking the inward question of what will so and so think about this or, how will this make me look. These thoughts are indicative of the "law of the herd". It is crucial for an out of the box entrepreneur to stay connected to the herd and maintain understanding but also be able to separate.

I have read a number of books on the human mind, how it works, and why we experience the things we do. I won't go into that here, it is however, quite fascinating. The bottom line is this. When we think, or "figure out", or sit down to make a decision we enter the box.

When we sit down to ponder and brainstorm and mastermind with other select individuals we are approaching the "out of box" realm of thought. Intuition is my favorite analogy to true out of the box thinking and living. Have you ever gone out into the woods, maybe by a river or some lake and been walking along and have a thought. Maybe something you saw or smelled, or heard spurred a thought. Not just any thought but a thought that was a creative and unique answer, view or question to a particular issue you had been facing? it is important for an out of the box entrepreneur to make time to do this on a regular basis.

Encouraging a real and substantial change in your life will often times be achieved through an out of the box idea. We have all heard the adage "Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results is a definition of insanity" Einstein. Well here is what happens.

When we think about a problem the problem itself brings up a feeling or an impression. That feeling or impression has likely been felt before and because of this you have stored in your brain information that is pertinent to this feeling. The brain contains information. That is it. It does not contain answers. It contains information that you decide or choose to be answers. Problem is most of us don't realize we are making the choice.

We have all noticed by our thirties or so that our lives have some patter ens that seem to repeat. Whether we like the patterns or not, they are there. The reason they are there is because we think our way through our "problems".

Want an out of the box experience? Try this. The next time you are frustrated with something or really are sick of a situation in you life, instead of thinking about the problem and deciding what you will do to remedy it do this. Cr eat a solution. Write down exactly the way you would like your life to be in this area. Read it over the work back word to what it is your experiencing now.

Entrepreneurs are often times refer ed to as out of the box thinkers. Many are I suppose. Many of the great entrepreneurial advances or inventions were so simple, they could only be thought of out side of the box. Many times the way we do things or the current solution is so ingrained that we simply cannot see another option.

Remember for some fun out of the box thinking start with the end in mind. Ask your self what you really want. Write down all your ideas even if they seem stupid or unsupported by current beliefs, these could be the good one.

"Making money happens in the free enterprise world when a very specific set of circumstances occur. It really does not matter if your looking to make money with or without a job. There are a few differences though, between w-2 income and self-employed incomes."

First of all the Circumstances: 1.In order to make money you have to create, add or provide value. 2.And the value needs to be agreed upon.3.You have to perform, agree, or create that value and accept money.

When you make money from a job you may not be involved in each area. As an employee your job may require a various degree of expertise. You may simply be require to do what your told at work in order to get paid. At some point though you agree to perform a function for a specific dollar amount for your time spent or value added. You are usually awarded a paycheck based on an hourly rate or you receive a salary.

What I have been shocked to find is that many people, usually employees don't realize that the owner of a small business is held to the same set of standards for making money. As an employee you may be provide with more clear cut instructions and expectations, depending on the industry your in, but ultimately you and your boss are playing by the same rule. This holds true also for large corporations.

So, if making money is making money, why are so many people interested in making money without a job? The answer to that question for many people is based on a set of false assumptions. For example. When your at work and you have an entrepreneurial moment, as Micheal Gerber with e-myth would say, you might hear a thought that goes something like this, " why should I do all the work while "he" makes all the money"?

Success in any endeavor depends on a target this holds true when attempting to create a successful home business. Simple activity can be rewarding but it usually won't have us end up in a predictable place. Think about it this way to see the point we are making here. Simply shooting a gun in the air is activity. Nailing a target to a tree and then aiming and hitting the bulls eye is more in line with the idea of success provided that is what you intended to accomplish.
To further simplify success I like to break it down into five categories.

Create the end result to be achieved. Or name the the objective.

Devise a plan to achieve the result.

Follow through with the plan.

Make changes if needed.

Then repeat until achieved

The Third person knows what they want and they have devised a plan but somewhere along the way they just loose their motivation and don't take the required action. What Will REALLY Inspire People to Look at Your Solutions?

You've often heard me say that the main cause of objections and rejection is telling your story or presenting your solutions too early. I've noticed that many network marketers typically fall into this trap when the person they're speaking with says something like... "I wish I had more money!"

That's usually a cue to rush in and present a solution. Unfortunately, the result is usually indifference at best, and objections and rejection all too often.

Why would this be? After all, it seems pretty clear that the other person has a need! The problem is that the real need is not being addressed.

What will really motivate someone to change are the deeper emotional reasons that lie behind the factual statements. And it's these emotional needs that you must uncover and allow the other person to talk about.
So, how do you do that? Well, by asking the right kinds of questions!
They’re the kind of questions you ask when they says something like "I wish I had more money." I've pointed out for you the type of question each one is. "How long has not having money been a problem for you?" (Needs Awareness Question)

"How would that make you feel if you could do that?" (Needs Development Question)

What you're doing is asking the questions that the other person would have asked themselves if they had known what to ask before getting stuck in their present situation! And by doing so, you're uncovering their real needs.

So before rushing in to present your solutions in the form of your products or business opportunity, understand their present situation and how they feel about it. It will help them inspire themselves to make a change as they feel the discomfort of their present circumstances as they listen to themselves answer.

Remember, people make decisions based mostly on feelings, not on logic.

This is where the rubber meets the road. Traction is something we all lack when we are doing our research and ultimate field tests in the quest for our first million. More traction would be great whatever step in the ladder you are at.

We generally focus on helping fledgling millionaires in our work because it is the most rewarding and gives us the greatest bang for our buck. To see an individual go from clueless to savvy in a fortnight is a gratifying experience. When its our resources that helped that transformation, then its very satisfying indeed.

So thats the area we focus on here. This is for people who need direction but have small resource capital to manufacture acceptable results.

So lets give you a little traction before you sieze your jets.

The following 5 strategies will give you the moves to take you to the first level. -A guy with a proven idea that can be replicated-
(An enviable position to be in)

1) Lets get this straight. Million dollar bank balances are numerical in nature. By that I mean a million bucks is not made up of 1 large million dollar bill. Its made up of exactly one million single's. Or to go to the lowest common denominator, its actually numerically made up of One thousand, million (or 1 billion) cents.
Make money fast and easy by thinking of money as numerical and therefore exponential. A dollar that you hold in your hand is the same as $1 million dollars. No difference at all. Its a seed that grows into a tree, then that tree spurrs more seeds. (I apolgize for the metaphor, but how else can we put this so you understand the nature of the reality as it is)

2) When you approach your 1 million dollar goal, you are biting off much much more then you can chew thinking about that million.
To make money fast and easy always think small. Refine, refine, refine. Then duplicate, duplicate, duplicate. Are you with me? Is this making sense? Make a simple little mouse trap, then make lots of mouse traps exactly the same way.

3) Find demand and supply into that demand.
To make money fast and easy, even before you think about "what" you will do, you are going to research demand. You will become an expert at sniffing out needs. This skill is a millionaires bow and arrow. Let me tell you, most millionaires couldn't hit the side of a barn much less the bulls eye. But they DO know this. So their aim is not important. What is important is that the target is nice and gigantic. How can they miss?
Trust me, its what millionaires do, its how millionaires think. Always supply into Fat juicy demand where the pickin is easy. Do you want medals of bravery or a million bucks asap?

4) Have a structure you never deviate from.
They always failed to plan when they planned to fail. Once your research is done never deviate from it. Give it a good run but if it doesnt work out for you then move on without shedding a single tear. Chance and "chaos theory" are fascinating things. Probability is what millionaires deal with. They never delude themselves into believing in absolutes.
To make money fast and easy, you will not work backwards or second guess yourself. Plant yourself firmly in the middle of the road on the high side and go forward. Don't make it up as you go. Stick to what your demand planning told you to do. Many give up after 1 failure, but probability is a funny thing. We think we can control it, but even when all your ducks are lined up in a row, it may not work. But give it a chance and let it prove itself and you may find over a number of attempts you will get the results you expected.

5) Diversify AND Go deep.
They call out diversify when it comes to investing. Fair enough. Things change and relying on just one source for your income stream is dangerous. And it is. But there are two sides to every coin.

The pareto principle states that reality and probability are stacked unevenly. We as rational human beings think of everything as equal and even. However scientific evidence and business experience tells a different story. The pareto principle is also known as the 80/20 rule. It states that 80% of your results comes from 20% of your activities. Is this significant if true? You bet. It means that of every effort you make, of all the many things you do to manufacture your results, only 20% actually is responsible for a large proportion (in fact 80%) of them.

So what does this mean in English? It means you can easily quadruple your results by finding out what that special 20% activity is and stop doing everything else. By focusing on just that 20% activity you will not only increase results, but you will create a new pareto principle refined of the old one at a higher level. In this way you move forward and evolve your activities to higher and higher levels.
